New York is freshly blanketed with snow and I am ready for a cozy weekend inside, cooking with bright colors. I’m headed to a cookie party and getting my house in order (literally) on my last weekend in the city before heading to Wisconsin for the holidays. Here are a few things I’m into lately:
- I love caramelized onions. I do not love how long they take to make. Why do so many recipe writers claim they only take 10 minutes?
- Sheet pan dinners are life saver for weeknights. This recipe for Moroccan Chicken is coming to a table near me soon.
- In addition to being surrounded by great friends and family during the holidays, I am also surrounded by cheese. One of the contributors of the Splendid Table podcast/radio program gets it. (PS – follow my Pinterest board devoted to cheese!)
- I love the holidays, but they can be stressful. I got this balm a few days ago after my BFF recommended it – I will never be without it again.
